Description
This is the Chairman Of The Board, Francis Albert Sinatra, singing "A Man And His Music" on Reprise 2FS-1016 from 1965. This is a special metallic box set with embossed and raised lettering on the front of the box (reportedly only 2,000 copies were made). These stereo records look VG++ with minor surface markings. Frank narrates between each of the songs. Most of the songs play in MINT condition with no audio defects. Some of the songs play in NM condition with very few background noises. And a few of the songs play VG++ with minor background noises. Both records come in their original Reprise Records inner sleeves. The gatefold jacket is in NM condition. The outside metallic box is in NM condition. All of the corners are still intact. This album comes in a clear, poly-vinyl protective sleeve. The 24 page booklet is also included and is in NM condition. Unfortunately the Sinatra autographed postcard is not included. Price guides suggest a valuation of $300 to $600 for a NM copy with the autographed card, which represents 50% of the valuation. Without that card I'm placing a modest price of $100.00 for this exclusive album set. Only metallic set I've seen in over 40 years.
