Release Year: 1954 Condition Details: Vinyl (VG+/EX): The vinyl retains a beautiful original gloss. Side 1 shows some very faint hairlines/surface wisps visible under bright light that do not affect play. Side 2 remains in Near Mint condition. Overall a very strong, high-end collector's copy. Jacket (EX): The gatefold cardboard picture sleeve is remarkably well-preserved with sharp corners and vibrant color. Only a small, unobtrusive penciled number in the upper right corner on the back.

About the Artist & Historical Significance Released in 1954, this EP set captures Sinatra during his transformative final years at Columbia Records. The title track, "I've Got a Crush on You," was originally a George and Ira Gershwin standard published in 1930. Sinatra’s 1947 recording for Columbia, featured here, redefined the song as a slow, intimate ballad, moving away from its original up-tempo Broadway origins. This collection is historically significant as it bridges the gap between Sinatra's early "Bobby Soxer" idol days and the sophisticated "Chairman of the Board" persona he would soon perfect at Capitol Records.
