Description
Here we have a Frank Sinatra box set containing 16 records, released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab in 1983 as part of a limited run of 10,000 copies.
This one, number 5131, is in incredible condition. I visually checked out each record, and they genuinely do not look like they were played once.
However, one was without it's inner sleeve, so I replaced it. It has a slight warp given the initial lack of sleeve, but I play tested it and it does not effect sound quality in the slightest — it's simply cosmetic. The rule is generally "if it plays it stays" and I'm happy to report it plays with zero problems! Not surprised given that many record plants rush cooling times due to demand.
The adhesive to the Geo-Disc sleeve has also began to decay due to time, which leaves it slightly detached. However, the disc mechanism itself is, as the records are, seemingly untouched.
