VERY CLEAN! 16PC LP Limited edition box set #5915 Original Master Recordings Japanese import featuring the one and only Frank Sinatra in his most celebrated years 1953-1962. Pressed on Super Vinyl using MoFi's exclusive half speed mastering process. This set was released in 1983.

OVERALL CONDITION:
The limited edition box has wear like creasing, small marks, a few very small half inch scratches, light bumping and slight ungluing of paper edge(see pictures) to some areas. The wear seems consistent with normal shelf wear over the life of the set. (again please preview pictures)     98% of the vinyl featured in this set is excellent to near mint. "Sings...Of Love and Things" and select others have minor aesthetic issues (see pictures and description above). Overall very clean.
What distinguishes an Original Master Recording LP from any other record?
1) Original Master Recordings were exclusively transferred from the original stereo master tape that the musicians recorded in the studio(not from a second, third, or fourth generation copy of that master tape)
2) Each Original Master Recording employed Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's exclusive half speed mastering process, thus capturing every nuance of sound from the master tape.
3) Quality, not quantity, is the overwhelming consideration in the creation of each Original Master Recording. The number of pressings was strictly controlled. These limited editions assured you that the quality of the last pressing matched the quality of the first.
4) Original Master Recordings were custom pressed overseas by Victor Company of Japan(JVC). Super Vinyl, an exclusive compound far superior to even so-called 100% virgin vinyl, was utilized to achieve maximum clarity and startling quietness. Super Vinyl also bestows unsurpassed durability to each Original Master Recording LP, achieving a "playing lifespan" at least five times longer than mass produced records.
