This is one you may not have come across before, a first issue circa 1961 still sealed (barely but it still is!) Through the shrink split at the opening you can see that vintage greenish Reprise inner sleeve. The price tag is there, stapled on as they did back in the day, the plastic wrap splitting and a bit tattered but still there, the cover has a split bottom center from movement no doubt, this is perhaps one of the last of its kind left in an unplayed state, and moreover, this is a Stereo issue (sold at a time when mono outsold stereo about 10:1 in many cases). Take it before I change my mind... I've had it for a very long time. The history is interesting. Capitol Records thought this album, originally titled Swing Along With Me, as you see this one is, was so close in sound and title to Sinatra's earlier Capitol album Come Swing With Me that the label sought, and was granted, a court order requiring Reprise to change the title of this, only his second Reprise album, to Sinatra Swings. Reprise was not required to recall LPs already shipped, but had to print new labels and jackets. This has outstanding Billy May arrangements and is one of my favorite Sinatra Reprise Lp's.
