Frank Sinatra - September Of My Years • FS1014B-1A-2 • STAMPER
This is a metal stamper for side B of Frank Sinatra’s September Of My Years - released as Reprise Records FS1014 in September of 1965.
The stamper is housed in the thick, greenish paper sleeve shown in the photo. The markings on the sleeve are consistent with the matrix and catalog numbers and is stamped with the date OCT 27 1965.
In the second photo, you can see the matrix number, 30406-FS1014B-1A-2, etched in the trail out area of the stamper.
This auction includes a copy of the LP. The jacket is in decent condition - no writing or major trauma. There is a 5” gap in the top seam where the paste-over paper has started to chip away. The seam isn’t split at the opening but hanging on by no more than a couple of millimeters. There are a few light scuffs on the LP. No serious gouges or scratches - probably plays fine. The original inner sleeve advertising other Reprise Records of the era is included. side A: 30405-FS1014A-1A-1 side B: 30406-FS1014-B.-1C.
I thought having these items professionally framed and mounted could result in a very cool item. Having thought that for the last 15 years and done nothing toward that goal, I now think it is time for you to take on the project. Heck, you are a way bigger Sinatra fan than me anyway!
