Description
Hello! This is an auction for a copy of the 78 album The Voice of Frank Sinatra by Frank Sinatra on Columbia, catalogue number C 112. All four shellac discs are present and free of cracks, although I should point out that there seems to be a bit of slight to very mild warping present here. It seems strongest on record one (sides 1 and 2) and record 3 (sides 5 and 6), although it doesn't seem to affect play (I tested these discs out on an AT-LP120XUSB with an appropriate cartridge for shellac, and the records sounded fine, albeit with the typical background shellac crackle). There other discs look to be nearly unaffected. There also appears to be a pressing defect at the beginning of 'I Don't Know Why' that causes some noise, but no skipping. Past that, there's some mild scuffing and scratching, but the records overall look quite good and still retain much of their original luster. The book has some moderate shelf wear to it and a little bit of writing on the inside, but is in overall pretty good shape. If you want to add this title to your collection, this would be a quite decent copy to go for. Good luck!
