Frank Sinatra at the Sands 1966 Reprise 1st Press EX Vinyl 2xLP - Basie & Quincy Jones


1976 Winchester Repress of Sinatra at the Sands (Reprise 2FS 1019), recorded live in early 1966 at the Sands Hotel, Las Vegas. This double-LP gatefold captures one of Frank Sinatra’s most iconic performances, featuring Count Basie and His Orchestra, with arrangements by a young Quincy Jones—before he became a global legend as composer and producer.


This is Sinatra’s first commercially released live album, and it’s a masterclass in swing, charisma, and showmanship. Highlights include Come Fly with Me, Fly Me to the Moon, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, It Was a Very Good Year, and the famously humorous Tea Break monologue, where Sinatra quips about Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and his “dirty Communist lie” about turning 50.
