• "Blue Skies" by Frank Sinatra with Tommy Dorsey & his Orchestra, recorded July 15, 1941 and released in 1943. Early Sinatra recording - (also issued on Victor 27566). Backed with "Put Your Arms Around Me Honey" and "Comin' In On a Wing and a Prayer" by Bea Wain with Vaughn Monroe & his Orchestra. Issued on V-Disc No. 1. Condition is V/V+. Sinatra side has moderate groove wear but plays without distortion. Wain side was recorded at a relatively low level but has fewer scratches and less wear. Disc has a bite taken out of it on the rim - I play-tested it and NO MUSIC is affected by the bite. Only lead-in grooves. Tough to find - the FIRST V-DISC!
