Description

Frank Zappa - Old Masters Box One - Limited Edition 1985 Boxed Set of FZ's first five LP releases with and without The Mothers Of Invention, including: (2 LP) Freak Out; Absolutely Free; Lumpy Gravy, We're Only In It For The Money (WOIIFTM), and Cruising With Ruben and The Jets + Bonus "Mystery Disc" containing pre-Mothers rarities and early Mothers of Invention live and studio rarities through 1966.  7 Discs in all.  Set comes with the original Old Masters Booklet and the original 4 page Barking Pumpkin Records catalog (circa 1985).
Condition: Discs are in Mint- condition (they have all been played) except for The Mystery Disc which is VG+  due to a visible light scratch on one track on the album.   LP jackets are all in Mint- to Mint condition.  Outer slip case is in VG+ condition with no seam splits but the top, bottom and sides have wear due to shelving (a little bit of the silverized jacket paper on the bottom is bent back a bit, there are a couple of light indentations - in the form of lines on the front left side of the box between the "Long Z" and the left side of the Donald Roller Wilson cover painting and the front upper right corner of the slip case has a 1/2" crease in it.  The inner part of the slip box (the part that holds the records) has a split corner but is otherwise in good shape.  NOTE: The image shown in the listing is a STOCK PHOTO and does not fully represent the actual box for sale - I will have actual box photos available in a day or two (see updates for that info).
This is BOX # ZM1-01295 (which is printed on the back of the inner box).
