On offer here is an Australian first pressing of We're Only In It For The Money in mono!!
This is arguably from a collectors point of view the most desirable Mothers of Invention album ever released in Australia. A spoof cover based on the Beatles Sgt Pepper album, is how Frank Zappa intended the original release to appear instead of the inverted issue that was eventually released worldwide because of a demand from Paul McCartney bringing in lawyers etc. Today in the CD age things are different, but back then in '68 Australia was the only one that got the real deal.
Original Australian Mothers of Invention records issued here in the 60's were pressed in tiny numbers and are very rare items indeed. This pressing is unique to most other issues as it featured a single sleeve. Also early Australian issues are renowned for making strange edits to some of the songs. See if you can find any here? Rare as!!

ITEM DESCRIPTION
COVER: Laminated front. Slight foxing and storage wear. Remnants of a sticker. LABELS: spindle trails, tiny name in biro

(the cover is overall in super condition. This would be a perfect upgrade for someone who has a great vinyl and ordinary cover).

VINYL GRADING
Mint minus (M-) as new.
Excellent (EX) "cupboard dweller"
Very clean and shiny vinyl without any scratches and minimum signs of handling. Fantastic audio! for sure! Never need to upgrade!
Very Good (VG) "used but not abused"
Vinyl is clean and shiny but will show signs of moderate use, with scuffs and scratches. Will play and sound great! A worthwhile keeper!
Good (G) "party animal"
Vinyl is marked with plenty of scuffs, scratches etc. There will be audible background pop and crackle but this should not overwhelm the music. A worthwhile filler due to rarity and/or desirability!
A plus + or minus - indicates a bias to the next level.

All LP records are packed between sturdy cardboard with vinyl disc plus inner sleeve placed securely outside of cover pocket, then sealed in plastic sleeve to protect from exposure to moisture.
