Original OZ 1st press 2XLP released in 1972 on United Artist Records. Cat: SUAL-934326/7. Comes in original heavyweight matt finish gatefold sleeve. Extremely rare OZ only censored edition!!  

Over the next several months we have the pleasure of listing a spectacular vinyl collection of over 6000 LP's. This collection consisting of mostly Jazz but also Blues, Folk ,Rock, Soundtracks and Classical was kept in amazing condition. Most of the records were played once, transferred to tape for listening and then stored away in cliplock sealed bags in specially made cupboards. The overall condition of this collection is sublime to say the least and whatever items I list as Near Mint you can be assured that it was probaly only ever played once!! Over the last few weeks you may have noticed some of the lovely jazz & rock titles I have listed, these are just the tip of the iceberg here. I hope you enjoy seeing these listings as much as I have in offering them.

The Australian pressing of Frank’s opus Soundtrack was released in Australia in 1972 with a matte gatefold sleeve, as with the U.S.A pressing. The only album on this label and Licensed to be distributed by Festival in Australia. This was the only country that edited this album and with a ridiculous amount of censorship. The complete track ‘Penis Dimension’ was removed along with three other tracks having lines edited.

Side 1 track 9 Lonesome Cowboy Burt From the verse ‘Come out here to Californy Just to find me Some pretty girls Ones I seen Gets me so horny Ruby lips N’ teeth like pearls’. The two lines ‘Ones I seen Gets me so horny’ were removed.

Side 2 track 3 Redneck Eats From the verse ‘What the fuck was that? I wonder if that sonabitch can play something I might like..’ The line ‘What the fuck was that?’ was removed.

Side 2 track 9 Shove It Right In From the last two verses the line ‘Waiting girls they can shove it right in’ was removed.

As well as censorship the matte double gatefold album set didn’t contain a booklet or poster as with some other countries.

Tracks: Semi-fraudulent/Direct from Hollywood overture/ Mystery roach/ Dance of the rock and roll interviews/ This town is a selaed tuna sandwich (prologue)/ Tuna fish promenade/ Dance of the just plain folks/ This town is a sealed tuna sandwich (reprise)/ The sealed tuna bolero/ Lonesome cowboy burt/ A nun suit painted on some old boxes/ Magic fingers/ Motorhead's midnight ranch/ Dew on the newts we got/ The lad searches the night for his newts/ The girl wants to fix him some broth/ The girl's dream/ Little green scratchy sweaters & courduroy ponce/ Strictly genteel (the finale)/ Touring can make you crazy/ Would you like a snack?/ Redneck eats/ Centreville/ She painted up her face/ Janet's big dance number/ Half a dozen provocative squats/ Mysterioso/ Shove it right in/ Lucy's seduction of a bored violinist & postlude/ I'm stealing the towels/ Dental hygiene dilemma/ Does this kind of life look interesting to you?/ Daddy, daddy, daddy/ What will this evening bring me this morning.

No sign of spindle marks on labels. Record has only been played once and are in Near Mint condition. Cover looks like it was bought yesterday, no marks, stickers, ring wear of any description. All seams totally intact, glorious condition. Cover is in Near Mint condition..

Payment is accepted by Paypal. Within Australia we also accept Direct deposit transfer and Australia Post Money Orders.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.

Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.

Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
