Up for bid is a rare LP, "Apostrophe," by Frank Zappa. This is a quadradisc, released on Discreet Records (DS4 2175) in the US in 1974. Etched matrix info on side 1 reads: 1 31775-QUAD-1A with "DS4-2175" etched to the left of the matrix info. Etched matrix info on side 2 reads: 1 31776-QUAD-1B with "DS4-2175" etched to the left of the matrix info. LP is VG++, with a couple of very faint scuffs and no spindle wear. (Scuffs are so faint I am sure they were caused by the paper inner sleeve.) LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. This LP is absolutely beautiful! Jacket is VG+. There is a split on the top seam. This split starts at the lip and travels toward the spine about 6 inches. There is wear on all seams. There is wear on all corners. There is ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is a very small abrasion on the front of the jacket in the top right corner, caused by the removal of an old price tag. This affects a very small portion of the surface layer of the jacket (see pictures). With all that said, this is still a nice copy of this very hard to find LP. Don't miss this gem!
