PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE. DESCRIPTION: LONG DELETED FRANK ZAPPA BOX-SET. "BEAT THE BOOTS" VOLUME 1. 6 Single disc Lps and 2 double Lps all in original white die-cut inners and sleeves. Box comes with complete Pop-Up and badge. No T-shirt. I bought this boxset from the original owner who assured me many of the 20 sides of vinyl/music had only been played once previously. I have not played any of the discs myself until today. They all look quite lightly played. That being said, please remember this is 20+ year old vinyl and you may get the odd tick or trace of background sound at times. Im only selling this to raise money for another record so its unlikely this will be relisted if the other record goes first. Im not sure what the quality was like on the original boots but this has been made to sound great. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: FOO-EEE Records R-70907 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1991 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: USA CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): All vinyls appear visually between EX to NM. I have put each disc on the turntable to check for edgewarps- all 10 sit perfectly flat on the turntable. The ones I have played passages of all sound clear and loud! All vinyls are housed in original white die-cut inners with light wear and no splits. Covers for the Lps are all firm and square with absolutely minimal wear grading NM overall. The Box is better than VG. The cardboard on the edges is starting to fray slightly so that the 3 sheets of cardboard that make up the edges are coming apart slightly. Its still firm and square with no writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. The badge still works great as a badge and has a little bubbling to the enamel and some oxidisation. The Pop-up is in excellent condition- no faults at all, no tears. It can be taken off the box easily and can be reattached if required. The labels are all immaculate, clean and without writing, stickers etc- see photos 11 and 12- they are all like this- clean and crisp. Nice copy all round. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
