Description

An original 1st press of CR on the UK Reprise label from 1970. Matrix A1/B1. Please note labels are consistent with 1st pressing with just the Reprise catalogue and no mention of Kinney re-cataloguing just 12 months or so later. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original red fronted MacNeill gatefold cover. Also included is the original generic white inner with patent information. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a most EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with super clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a touch of lightest static in a couple of tracks [e.g. 20 Small Cigars]. Nothing invasive..very minor. By and large a very nice clean rendition which will impress.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape with only very light handling evident back and front. The interior is pretty much immaculate. Edge wear is reasonably light and the openings still sharp. The spine is pretty much entirely intact with all text still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) A bit of ageing. And one 1 c.m. edge split.
