This is the 1987 reissue of Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention's 1966 LP Freak Out! on Barking Pumpkin/Zappa Records. Both the records and gatefold cover are in near-mint condition. The album also includes a reproduction of the original "Freak Out Hot Spots" insert. According to the album liner notes, the source of this album is an "FZ 1987 digital transfer of original 1966 stereo master," and was official release #1 in the Zappa family's archival series.
