Description

Up for auction is this rare South African pressing on Frank Zappa's classic 'Hot Rats'

Released in 1969, cat. no RRC 6356

Sleeve Condition:

The flipback sleeve is in VG condition only (strict grade), with laminate peeling as shown in the last two photos. Looks decent when in a plastic sleeve, and no seam splits or major creasing etc.

Label Condition:

EX, faultless but spindle marks are visible under strong light.

Vinyl Condition:

Visually the vinyl is VG to VG+ with light removal marks on both sides, one long but un-feelable hairline on side A, a couple of inaudible scuffs on the last track on side B, and also a circular scratch around the intro of the last track on side B.

Grading is always a subjective thing, so for the removal of all doubt I have made a soundclip of the first 30 seconds of each of the songs on the album. It has been pro-cleaned. As you can hear it plays VERY nicely. In my opinion the playgrade is definitely VG+ but i'll let you make up your own mind.

Soundclip:

1-2 LPs: UK £4.00, EU £8, Japan £10, US/Australia £12

Shipping:

UK £4, EU £8, US/Japan/Australia £12

If the record sells for over £50 i'll contact you offering a tracked/insured option. This will be approximately double the cost of the rates above and i'd recommend it personally.

Please no zero feedback bidders, and there will be no returns. The soundclip and photos show you exactly what you're buying...

Good luck!
