CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays nicely (play-tested). Gate-fold cover looks great; light-scuffing (front/back), slight creases near bottom on front. Inner-gate has no issues. Inner sleeves are original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read, with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Openings are crisp with signs of light-use. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Zappa in New York is a live double album by Frank Zappa. It was recorded at a series of concerts at the Palladium in New York City in December 1976. Zappa in New York was released in the UK only by Zappa's DiscReet Records label in 1977, then quickly withdrawn. A second version was re-released in March 1978 with changes ordered by DiscReet's distributor, Warner Bros. Records. The 1978 edition reached #57 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. This is Official Release #23. Zappa also was at the height of his comic stagecraft, notably on songs like Titties & Beer, which is essentially a comedy routine between Zappa and Bozzio, and The Illinois Enema Bandit, which features TV announcer Don Pardo.
