Description
For sale here is a vinyl box set which compiles all 3 'acts' of 'Joe's Garage' by Frank Zappa, across 3 discs in 2 gatefold sleeves; one sleeve contains just act 1, whilst the other contains 2 and 3. This is a high quality 1990 version released on Zappa Records (see https://www.discogs.com/Frank-Zappa-Joes-Garage-Acts-I-II-III/release/1765528 for details).
I have played the records through on a test run and they are all in excellent condition - they have been recently cleaned and rarely played, and have no skips and only a low level of surface noise. The second disc is however slightly warped, which is visible when the record spins, though this does not affect playback (my record player is nothing special, so if it plays through on that I imagine it will be fine on anything). I attempted to photograph this defect, but it is minor enough that it is only visible when the record spins.
The box and sleeves are also in excellent condition with minimal wear. The sleeves feature some incredible artwork and a mini booklet within each gatefold (pictured). The record labels are also very well maintained, with only the first side of the first record showing minor spindle wear (pictured).
