 This item is a mono promotional album released in 1968 on Verve Records by Frank Zappa entitled ‘Lumpy Gravy’. Promo record label and number is Verve Records V-8741. Record itself is in VG- condition with many light scuffs. When played there are areas of a repeating ‘click’ on some areas of Side 1 and the same for about 5 minutes on Side 2. Repeating clicks are not overwhelming loud but are noticeable when played. Still a decent listen and there are no skips. Record was cleaned on a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine. Promo record labels have radio station call letters on both sides (WSAY) and a date (May 2, 1968) also on both record labels and some light spindle wear (see photos). Gatefold cover is in VG condition with ringwear and some wear on the top edge of the cover and at the corners (see photos). Album comes with its original Verve Records paper inner sleeve. Very hard to find mono promo copies of this Zappa album in any condition. This promo album will fill a hole in your Zappa collection until and if you can find another copy.
