Frank Zappa ~ Lumpy Gravy
This rare 1968 UK Stereo 1st pressing is on the black & silver Verve label: SVLP.9223
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text.
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' gatefold stereo cover.
Matrix numbers: 8741A-1 & 8741B-1
Stamper numbers: 1/G & 1/G
Labels: NEAR MINT Visual: NEAR MINT Both surfaces are Near MINT viewed in natural light and bear just a few wispy paper hairlines when viewed directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Otherwise, this is a pristine disc with no other marks or any scratches to either side. Audio: NEAR MINT Carefully but barely played, this is a superb sounding disc with no trace of groovewear distortion in either channel on any track.
Both run-ins & all bands are extremely quiet and there are no clicks, jumps or repeats anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
Extremely strong & clean cover with a high-gloss unscratched intact front laminate bearing just an occaisional light crease but no major wear.
The corners display some minor bruising and the opening edges display some light wear but no tears or feathering.
Inside is in perfect condition and the the rear panel has just a few laminate wrinkles but no marks or writing.
All seams and the 'wide' spine are unstressed, unsplit & undamaged.

- Mint - The record is in brand new condition With no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover & any extra items (inserts, etc) are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Un-played should be Mint.
- Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and / or creasing.
- Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
- Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, may have some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
