A 1968 solo album by Frank Zappa and performed by a group of session players he dubbed the Abnuceals Emuukha Electric Symphony Orchestra & Chorus. Zappa conducted the orchestra but did not perform on the album. Produced simultaneously with We're Only in It for the Money, Zappa saw Lumpy Gravy as the second part of a conceptual continuity.
Summary: Nice all-round 1973 copy of Frank Zappa Lumpy Gravy. Matrix A1/B1. Gatefold sleeve, which remains in original protective clingfilm. Clean labels EX+, vinyl retains original gloss. Clean audio no skips, sticks, pips, pops graded EX+.
Sleeve: Still in original ‘clingfilm’ protective sleeve. Gatefold laminated sleeve in nice condition, clean edges (see photos). Proud spine - small lamination split on spine, graded EX+
Labels: Classic silver on black Verve Record label, in nice clean condition – no real signs of age, graffiti, marks or sticker residue, minimum signs of play graded EX+
Vinyl: Visually retains its original gloss – amazing for a 73 record. Close up with a magnifying glass reveals one small cosmetic shadow scuff (S2) looks like its part of the pressing and a few, very, very few light hairlines/traces which are non sounding Graded EX
Audio. Nice clear audio, no deterioration/distortion. No skips, sticks, jumps, pips, pops or unwanted age-related dust crackle (played on a Project carbon - blue 2M Ortofon) – graded EX/EX+

I am a collector of 47+ years, the few records I sell are either the results of upgrades, duplicates or a bit of thinning every now and again. I strictly adhere to the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide using one + or - for addition guidance:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
