Offered here is an extraordinarily rare, unopened, factory-sealed original 1966 US 1st pressing of Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention’s landmark debut double LP, Freak Out! on Verve Records. Untouched by human hands for 60 years, this is a true time-capsule copy for the serious Zappa archivist or high-end psych/garage collector.

• Jacket (Strong VG+ to EX): The original shrink wrap is well-preserved across both faces. Spine text and seam lines are clean and legible. As visible in the edge-on photographs, there is minor, customary shelf and storage rub along the extremities and corner tips under the shrink wrap, consistent with a heavyweight double-pocket gatefold preserved over several decades. No moisture damage, barcode stickers, cutouts, punch holes, or saw cuts.
