Frank Zappa Mothers of Invention BURNT WEENY SANDWICH 1970 LP Reprise
Rare opportunity to acquire this superb original UK Reprise copy of The Mothers of Invention's Burnt Weeny Sandwich. The record is clad in a beautiful Reprise gatefold cover (RSLP 6370) that is still in remarkably crisp, clean and unbent condition – I've never seen a cleaner copy. Bought secondhand in Liverpool, in 1978, by the present owner, the item was immediately encased in a tough clear polythene cover adding decades to its pristine condition. The record itself – peculiarly encased in an inner sleeve depicting LPs by bland types such as Dean Martin and Buddy Greco – exhibits the attractive yellow, pale blue and cream coloured Pop Series label with river boat. It has just been played all the way through and both sides were extremely clean, without crackles, pops or extraneous noise. A Lovely item. Many thanks for looking.
