Description
Frank Zappa was a songwriter, musician, and guitarist with a career spanning over 30 years. He was a critic of mainstream education and organized religion, and an advocate for freedom of speech, and self-education. Unlike many other musicians of his era, he disapproved of and seldom used drugs. Rolling Stones Magazine ranked him #71 on the list of 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. 'No Commercial Potential' is a double LP set. Disc one consists mostly of a live recording in Rotterdam, Holland from the '200 Motels' era. Disc two appears to have been recorded live in the US, each side is one continuous track and contains some monologues. SODD (Singer's Original Double Disks) #003 is packaged in a plain white sleeve with plain numbered discs. The cover sheet has a bizarre story titled "The Story So Far', along with the track listing. SODD was a label used by TAKRL one of the first and top bootlegging record labels in America, active between 1973-1977. Bootleggers put out unauthorized live or studio recordings not released commercially, while pirates steal available recordings. The cover is in very good+ condition. Both vinyl LP's are in excellent condition. SODD #003, STEREO. Thank you for looking.
