Description
Sealed copy of the 1995 limited edition 2LP of Frank Zappa's Strictly Commercial. It's a gatefold, numbered 01822 on the back cover.
If you want a good way into Zappa, this is a great place to start. It runs from Freak Out! in 1966 to Broadway the Hard Way in 1988, with Peaches en Regalia, Don't Eat the Yellow Snow, Dancin' Fool, and Joe's Garage along the way. Several tracks are single versions or a 12 inch dance mix, and the vinyl has two songs that aren't on the CD: Tell Me You Love Me and Planet of the Baritone Women.
Rykodisc mainly worked on CDs, so a vinyl release is a bit of a curveball for them. The mixes on this album haven't been heard or produced since the distribution deal ended, so this pressing is the only way to hear them.
Condition: Factory sealed. The obi is intact, with some overlap on the front. Check the photos for details.
