Description

This is the fantastic Zappa album that we lusted over in the early 70s. This was the nonchalant cool of the decade; for those who wanted rich and explorative music making new tracks in instrumentation and composition. If you Google Uncle Meat - ahead of their time, you'll see how important this music is. To have it in its original vinyl LP form is quite something for the true follower of Mr Zappa' s musical and theatrical performance.
For the collector who only values vinyl in pristine condition, this is in average condition for its age and not collectable. For the true enthusiast this is the real thing. You will see from the photos, the price is quoted in shillings and pence (79s and 9d)
In pounds this was £3:19s:9d. I think I purchased this in the Virgin store in Birmingham, Corporate St. (decimalization of the pound was introduced on 15th February 1971). However, it was a long time ago and I can't say my memory is great about which shop.

This LP, over 2 discs, 28 tracks, covers many brilliant pieces, including God bless America, Cruising for Burgers and the delightful King Kong variations.
I am selling because it is really just gathering dust and should be in the hands of someone who would fully appreciate its patina and originality. I've not played it for years, so no guarantees.
