Description
This is Frankie Tyler, really Frankie Valli, on a promo OKeh with I Go Ape and If You Care. Frankie does his version of the Bob Crewe and Frank Slay song. Why it shows S Slay for writer's credit, I don't know because the Tommy Payne label shows F. Slay. The flipside is a pop rocker.
Vinyl is a shiny VG- with a number of very light surface scratches and a row of scuff marks across the grooves that don't create a problem. Labels are dirty with two stars on the I Go Ape label.
I record the songs using an Audio Technica VM 540 ML needle through a McIntosh C24 preamp. You can hear the song from beginning to needle lift with NO editing of the MP3.
