This auction is for Franklin Mint - The Greatest Recordings Of The Big Band Era - 22 Album Set (11 Double LP Box Sets) - Numbered 1 to 22 - each box set has 2 albums, a letter from the Franklin Mint regarding the shipment, and a commentary on the featured musicians, singers & bands written by Neil McCaffery, a prominent big-band music critic, this was a very expensive set to collect when new, Franklin Mint has always made a high quality product. The first volume of 1/2 was released in 1980 & a new volume every 2 months after that continuing on thru 1985. You are looking at the first 22 records that were released in this collection. Records appear like-new, in near mint condition with many that may never have been listened to, they are an elegant deep red vinyl, and each is stored in its protective slip case - Boxes are in good order, with just mild storage wear and age to be expected - this is a fantastic set for someone who appreciates music of the Big Band era - All Original from a one-owner collection - Your bid is for a Set of 22 Albums.
