The songs on this record were selected with you in mind, so they recorded the ones most requested. They hope that you will enjoy it and that it will be a blessing to you. Born and raised around Warren County, the girls now reside with their parents, Ray and Viola Lamb, and a younger brother Kenneth Eugene, in Franklin, Ohio. They attend the Red Lion Holiness Church of The Lord of Glory, founded by their grandparents, Gilbert and Virgie Lamb. JoAnne and Cheryl have just recently started singing together. The songs "He Took My Hand" and "Pa" were composed and sung by JoAnne. "Pa" was written in memory of their grandfather, Brother Gilbert L. Lamb, deceased August 26, 1970. He was well known as a leading evangelist in the Pentecostal movement. "He preached the way of holiness" spoken of in Isaiah 35:8. Listen to the words of "Time Has Made A Change" as Cheryl sings it from her heart. Visualize our mansions in glory as JoAnne sings "Build My Mansion" next door to Jesus. Notice the harmony as they blend their voices and sing together, Cheryl singing tenor and JoAnne singing lead in "He's Done Too Much For Me To Fail Him Now" (also written by JoAnne), "Less of Me", "Thank God For My Christian Home", "Road of No Return", "I Know I've Been Born Again", "Had It Not Been", and "Where Will You Be A Million Years From Now". Also notice how these Christian girls put their heart and soul into their first album. So . o . . pull up a chair as you listen to the heartfelt gospel singing by JoAnne and Cheryl on their first album.
