Description

Fraternity "Flaming Galah" Rare Australian only LP featuring Bon Scott. Cat no. SL-102038.

Gatefold sleeve is in EX- condition, very well looked after, has a little bit of scuffing and very tiny amounts of wear at the extreme edges. There is a small mark just under the "F" of "Flaming Galah". Plus there's a bit by the spine where the laminate on the sleeve has "lifted" but not torn and just to the right of the galah (the bird) there is a crease in the laminate (again, its not torn).

On the back of the sleeve there is very faint ringwear from where the record has been in the sleeve over the years.. It's not taken any of the sleeve away but the sleeve has "dulled" a bit where the edges of the record were.

These flaws are pretty minor though, I'm just trying to describe the sleeve as accurately as possible. This LP hardly ever comes up on ebay and it would be difficult to find one with a sleeve in as good condition as this one.

Vinyl. This has been played a few times.  There is some light crackle in-between the songs and in the quiet bits but both sides play through perfectly with no jumps or skips. Both labels are EX. The vinyl itself is very clean except there is a noticeable surface mark on Side 2, Song 1 (Raglan's Folly) which results in a couple of "pops" but it still plays with no jumps/skips. Overall its in VG- condition.

The inside of the gatefold sleeve has pictures of the band. The tracklisting is Welfare Boogie, Annabelle, Seasons Of Change, If You Got It, You Have A God, Hemming's Farm, Raglan's Folly, Getting Off, Somerville RIP and Canyon Suite. Most of these songs were on the 1st Fraternity LP (Livestock) but they are re-done and re-worked for this LP (different versions) which has a much more bluesy feel than the 1st album.

Please bear in mind that the postage costs include the price of the mailer/packaging which costs me 40p each. Sorry but I'm not prepared to send items by "Surface Mail" because everytime I've done this the items have got lost and I've had to refund the buyer. Royal Mail states that surface mail takes between 2 to 12 weeks....so it's just not worth it. Packages sent by airmail to countries outside of Europe (USA, Canada, Australia, Japan etc) generally get there in about a week and I've not had one get lost yet.

UK parcels are sent First Class. Parcels to Europe and the Rest Of The World are sent by Airmail.
