Description
This is The Fred Astaire Show, a five sided set of transcription discs documenting this classic television special featuring Simon & Garfunkel, Sergio Mendes and Young Holt Unlimited. Since the labels on the first disc are attached off-center, and has not been disturbed or torn, I believe the set was un-played. However, there are some marks evident on all sides. I have test played some spots (all of side 5 and the beginning of side 3 with Simon & Garfunkel) and they played well so I arbitrarily graded the set as VG++ (excellent). The white, hand written labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is an excellent, collector's grade copy of this original white label transcription set. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
