“You Gotta Wait / I Just Need Some Lovin’”
Starday Records 170
10” 78 rpm Released in 1954
Mega rare original rockabilly rhythm & blues. This is not a re-issue. Etchings in the dead wax read “ST-2180” on side a and “ST-2181” on side b. And this record is probably the cleanest shellac 10” I’ve ever seen. This is a beautiful artifact for a serious collector of rockabilly, early rock n’ roll, first generation rhythm and blues, or music history. These do not come around very often, and be sure to see our other old 78s for sale this week.
Tracks:
A You Gotta Wait
B I Just Need Some Lovin’
The grade of the record is VG+ with light sleeve marks and one small scuff, but no deep scratches, gouges, chips or cracks. This is visually graded only. Please click on any photos above for a super-size view for close inspection.
