Description

Truly scarce anywhere in Europe lp of Fred Katz & His Music Soul o' Cello Modern Jazz Arrangements for Cello, jazz soloists and Studio Orchestra. 1st US Deep grooved Decca. Paul Horn and Pianist Calvin Jackson get mentioned but the drummer is described as a modern jazz bandleader, but I am assuming for contractual reasons he is not named. Anyway a pleasing listen, with Fred showing he has chops, in quality arrangements and decent sound for the era. Note I also have a Red Callender Cello Jazz lp on Vogue in my store.
1950s first anywhere issue.  Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water.  This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
