Description

An original 1st press of the debut on UK Columbia from 1963. Matrix 1N/1N. Stamper 1-RH/1-GT. Please note the labels do not exhibit the 'Sold In The UK..' text and this singles this copy out as an original '63 1st press. The vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. Nothing to complain about - just a nice clean rendition from start to finish. At worst a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments.
Cover (Vg+) In very nice shape and has been cared for sown the years. Lovely shiny front with only a couple of thumbnail creases. The rear is ok with just some light ageing. Edge wear is quite light and the spine if ully intact. overall the cover retains great rigidity. Please note there's one sticker mark in the top right corner.
