Description
Black original label, deep groove. 12 tracks with leader, Green, guitar; Al Cohn, tenor sax,clarinet; Joe Newman, trumpet; Henry Coker, trombone; Nat Pierce, piano; Milt Hinton bass; Jo Jones or Osie Johnson, drums. 8 of the 12 tunes composed by Green. Cover: VG 10" scotch tape applied to the top edge (possibly for protection rather than repair) 5" split on the spine; 3" bottom edge split. A mark in pencil near each tune on the tune schedule on the back cover. some edge and corner wear. Light aging on the back cover. Some rub marks indicating ordinary handling on the front cover. Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There is 1 surface rub mark. The record has been played a number of times but played with care. Except for a rare, very infrequent, light click and a small, light interval of groove noise at the end of Track 5, Side 2, no surface noise. Fine condition with most tracks playing Mint(-). Audibly checked.
