Freddie Hubbard – Open Sesame, 1966 LP BLUE NOTE, BLP 4040, VG++ Vinyl
A very awesome Rudy Van Gelder repress of Open Sesame. New York, USA label. Period accurate sleeve and dating.
LP Grade is VG++ Visually only minor scuffs and surface scratches. Some noise on side B lead in groove but this may be stuck on dirt and need deep cleaning for 60 year old dust. Overall excellent vinyl. Sleeve is very glossy and crisp with minor gloss scuffs and some corner dings. In an outer sleeve this looks like a new record. All tracks are very clear and rich.
Playback: Tested on a technics 1200 with a Ortofon pro s through a Mcintosh into Genelec 8050 B's.
