Description
This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Freddie Hubbard “Open Sesame” on the West 63rd St. labels of Blue Note BLP 4040. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a nice luster; a few inaudible superficial scuffs, but a nice luster; Side 2 label is smudged at the bottom. The laminated New York 23 cover is clean throughout; number “63” is inked at the top left corner of the back slick; the lower left corner has ¾” clear tape; 2 ½” clear tape on the bottom seam, at the opening, repairs a 1 ½” split.
