Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and a 3 MIL poly inner sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
- This copy has never been played.
- The collectability is enhanced by the fact it is a First pressing without the black bar through the shelter logo on the label.
- The recently departed great Leon Russell produced and played on this album. Shelter was the record label that Leon founded.
- The single piece board cover has tight seams and shows some storage wear along the spine.
- The Promo designation is a clean drill punch hole upper right.
- The original inner sleeve is included. I have included a soft poly inner sleeve.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from the Capitol rep (Shelter's distributor) in his record store in 1971. It has been in storage for 46 years.

Shelter Records with Superman egg logo without bar (see below)
There exist two copies, the original pressings have the red label with the "superman egg" logo without a bar across it. After a lawsuit about the Superman logo, the later editions were released with a black bar across this Superman logo.
