THIS RECORD WAS RECENTLY (March 2017) REDUCED IN PRICE !!
I am a former disc jockey who has collected hundreds of records since the 1950's, and this is one more of my collection.
This is Freddie Alfred Lennon, known to friends as "Alf", John Lennon's Father, singing "That's My Life".
It is a response to John's song, "In my Life", about his youth in Liverpool.
This song, recorded in 1965, was never really recognized by John Lennon, as he did not publicly, or otherwise have
anything to do with his Father. Although when notified that his father had terminal stomach cancer, John sent a
bouquet of flowers to Alf while on his deathbed, and also telephoned his father, to apologize for his past behavior.
The vinyl is in excellent condition, even though it has been played.
This is a MUST recording to have added to your collection if you are a real John Lennon Enthusiast!!
