Description

Super-rare and highly interesting oddity from the peak of Beatlemania. That's My Life (My Love and My Home) b/w The Next Time You Feel Important was released in 1965 by John Lennon's father Alfred (aka Freddie), much to the Beatle's dismay. In fact, John Lennon and Brian Epstein did everything they could to stop this Picadilly label release - an 'answer' song to The Beatles' own 'In My Life' - from coming out. It did trickle out, but sold in so few quantities that it is now a hugely collectable beatles rarity. The A side also happens to be a pretty good song, I reckon, which finds Freddie in a sombre mood, explaining some home truths. Presumably directly to John. Record comes in a company sleeve and is in EX- condition. It has a few very light marks on the playing surface but it plays superbly. Labels are clean and mark-free. The glare on the pic is down to my camera flash and is not on the record! Check out my other auctions!
