Description
Freddie Roach Brown Sugar vinyl LP. Blue Note BLP-4168. Mono. 1st Press (according to my research: see photos, ask Q's.). Heavy, thick vinyl. Recorded by Van Gelder in 1964.
Details: Side A plays great. Side B has a scratch along tracks 2 and 3. Track 2 "clicks" on the scratch for a bit, still enjoyable with vintage appeal, then the clicks fade. Track 3 plays through with little "click" notice at the beginning and fades out of the track quickly. Because of this, I'm grading the LP as Good/ Good+. Sleeve is a Good/ Good+ as well. Front is scratched and back shows ring wear and some discoloration over the years. Top and bottom edges are taped. Solid player copy to hold any fan/ collector over since this pressing is an expensive one out on the open market (Discogs, eBay, etc.). Priced accordingly and to sell. (All Q's welcome as this is a No-Returns listing).
The record and jacket will be placed in a plastic protective sleeve, with the LP outside of the jacket. This maintains the integrity of the record jacket during shipping. Shipping records in their sleeves can damage the cardboard jacket. The record will be shipped in a sturdy, securely packaged cardboard record mailer for safe arrival. USPS Media Mail w/ tracking. Please be advised that due to Covid restrictions, I can only ship on Saturdays. If I am able to ship sooner, I will.
