description: In 1987 Freddy 'Boom Boom' Cannon was commissioned to record a parody of his 1962 hit "Palisades Park" for Kennywood Park, located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. This recording was distributed through KDKA Radio & TV and the Pittsburgh-based National Record Mart chain. Proceeds benefited Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the B-side features KDKA's Children's Hospital Theme. The A-side was used heavily in Kennywood TV commercials throughout the late 1980's. The song references various rides and attractions, many of which have been replaced and are now located at various amusement parks around the world. No picture sleeve included.
grade: VG+/VG. Comes in generic sleeve. Some very light surface wear, but mostly shiny luster with little sign of play. A-side plays fine, but there's a lot of surface noise on the B-side. VG+ grade for A-side, B-side there is some issue. High resolution pictures and sound clips are provided.
