Description
Goin' Up Up Up. Freddie Hubbard. 1960. Featuring Hank Mobley and Miles rhythm section: McCoy Tyner, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. Label is the original mono pressing, deep groove, ear, (r). Condition is Ex/VG+.
Reid Miles/Francis Wolff cover. The cover has very small crease in bottom right corner, no seam splits, clean laminate.
This is from the collection of the late Philadelphia WRTI Jazz DJ Harrison Ridley Jr (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harrison_Ridley_Jr). His name is on the back at the top in ink.
The record has light scuffs and marks but plays very good with some surface noise on quiet selections.
The record is guaranteed as described but I will not refund or pay any shipping costs. Please feel free to email with any questions and I will post any additional information to the listing. Please check my other listings, I will be selling a couple dozen jazz records over the next month.
Great hard bop record featuring Mobley and a young (22 year old) Freddie Hubbard with 'the rhythm section'.
