Description

Artist: Freddy King Title: Let's Hide Away and Dance Away with Freddy King Label/Number: King 773 (M)
Jacket condition: VG+
Record condition: M-
Notes: This is an original black label King LP from 1961. The cover has the top seam neatly taped for about 6" at the opening and a 1" split on the right corner opening. There is also some light ring wear to the front and back. The photo and graphics on the front still look great as do the black and white album photos and the liner notes on the back. The flaws are relatively minor but combined they keep me from grading the cover any higher than VG+. The labels are in nice condition with only one very light spindle mark detracting at all. The vinyl is still bright and glossy and appears to be have been played only once or twice.

Grading: Grading is usually only visual unless there are obvious problems that need to be checked out. I use Goldmine standards with a VG++ added for items NOT QUITE up to M-. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record. Mono (M) or Stereo (S) is noted after catalog number. Don't hesitate to e-mail questions.

Mailing and costs: Shipping is via USPS, media mail, and fully insured, unless otherwise requested. Standard fee on this one will be $6.00 including the cost of insurance and a new mailer and pads. Overseas costs will vary dependent upon the desires of the buyer but will be the actual shipping costs plus about $1.50 for the new mailer and pads. Multiple purchases can be combined to save mailing costs.
