Description

An original 1st press of F&W on the UK Island label. Matrix A1/B1 - very 1st press. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover. Also included is the original generic white inner sleeve with patents pending. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few very superficial marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly a  NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Not quite clean enough to hit the top grades, but a solid impressive player none the less. When on song this copy delivers really nice audio with little interference. But do expect a touch of light background in places in a couple of tracks. E.g. Remember & Mr Big. Nothing invasive - they just won't play quite as clean as the rest of the LP. Truth be told - it still sounds great even in these tracks. There's a tiny deviation during 'Wept' - a couple of very minor ticks [very minor]. Also, there's the full length version of 'ALL RIGHT NOW' at the end of side 2 which closes on a really high note. Please note the side two label exhibits a biro 'doodle'. 
Cover (Vg+) Often found looking a bit beleaguered by this stage in time. But this example has been treated reasonably carefully down the years. Nice relatively clean front with only a few light creases. The rear is good too with just a couple of light creases. There's a bit of edge wear in places, but nothing excessive. The spine is about average with a bit of wear. A good few characters of the text are worn off. Inside the cover someone has dated it to "June-1970" - which is the original release date. Overall a very nicely preserved copy.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits though.
