Description

On offer here is a copy of Fire And Water by Free, pressed on the “rough” Pink Island label in 1970, catalogue number ILPS 9120.


Please note I use the Record Collector system of record grading.


The single unlamainated sleeve is in excellent condition with no tears rips waiting or otherwise.The spine is straight with all print clear and legible.


The vinyl has a light scuff mark on Side One but does not sound. There are a few clicks on “Heavy Load “ but not caused by any marks, some of these early Pink Island pressings did suffer from this, King Crimsons Court Of The Crimson King being a prime example.

Having played the album all the way through these are the only issues I could hear, otherwise it plays really well as it should for a First Pressing.

The original polylined inner is included with the correct date printed on it.

First pressings of this album in decent shape are hard to come by, this is listed with a very low starting price and will be a bargain for someone.


The record will be sent outside of its cover sandwiched between two 12”stiffeners in a heavy duty record mailer made by Covers 33, as used by Mail Order Record companies.
