Description

This is an original UK Island pressing on the 'pink eye' Island label, pressed on heavyweight vinyl with textured labels.
Under normal lighting the vinyl looks near-mint. Under a bright LED light I can see a couple of light, superficial marks, which do not affect playback. There is some light marbling in the deadwax area around the labels where the vinyl has reacted with the poly-lined inner sleeve, but of course, this does not affect playback either. Playback is loud and clear - no pops, repeating tics, skips or distortion - super sound.
The cover has a small (2cm) crack on the rear top seam, but the seam is not split through (see picture no. 5). All other seams are intact and show just very light rubbing. The spine is clean with all text legible, just some light wear at the top and bottom of the spine. There is a tiny corner bump on the top right corner.
The front cover has some light rubbing near the top and bottom seams and the rear cover has a hint of ringwear. Inside the gatefold, both panels are clean with no evidence of wear and tear. Comes complete with the original poly-lined inner sleeve with the correct '099' (1969) date code.
Overall, a very nice copy of a UK original which doesn't come up that often.
