Description

Health issues dictate that I begin to part with some of my favourite items. Up for your consideration is "Show Me the Way" b/w "Blue Monday" by the Free-For-All (aka Great Scots). It's been comped numerous times so I'm sure you've heard it.

I use Goldmine grading, but so much is subjective when it comes to moving from one grade to another. I have a hard time not grading this NM. Beautiful luster, no scratches, and no scuff marks on the a-side. If you look hard enough under the right lighting you can see a small scuff on the b-side. Also surviving is the original Challenge paper sleeve. As you can see in the scan there is some browning on the edges. Some ring wear and one bottom corner was unceremoniously treated by someone filing away the record.

As for sound, I concede that my hearing isn't what it used to be, and given the quality recording of 45 years ago, I can't hear any noise during playback. However, I can hear slight surface noise on the lead-in and lead-out dead wax, but very minor. So it may be there, and ye of the golden ear might hear something that I cannot.
