Description

I have up for auction a record (78) on a red and gold Odeon label, made in France. It is #188.014 by Carlos Gardel, Argentine/Tenor with Guitares. Selections are "Ramona" and "El Carretero". The record is in very good plus to excellent condition on Ramona side, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are few, light and almost all surface variety, none deep. On Carrereto side, very odd, some early grooves cause intermittent blasting and a couple later on-but I checked another copy and it has the exact same blasting in same exact spots-so apparently must have been in the manufacturing? (downgrade accordingly; starting price lower as a result). Surfaces still fairly shiny and clean.
